Founder
John Noble
John qualified as an optician in 1948 after serving as a pilot in WW2. He opened his practice on Rushden High St in 1963 before relocating to Church Street in 1970. A talented artist and amateur cinematographer he loved his job, working until his 80s.

His children, Richard and Anne both worked with him creating the family feel we love!
Founder
Richard Noble
Richard qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1973, a passionate football (West Ham) fan he loves to travel. Together with John and Anne, Richard built on John's legacy before partially retiring in 2020.

Mark Turner FBDO
Mark qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1995 and is categorically not bitter that Sadie got 100% in her Ophthalmic Lens exam and he only got 92%.

Mark loves bright, colourful spectacles and hence not known for his subtlety.

A lover of theatre, classic TV and Radio not to mention Disney and motorsport and tabletop gaming. Not necessarily in that order.

Sadie Miller FBDO
Sadie joined us as a Saturday Administrator in 2015 before starting full time with Nobles as a retail management apprenticeship. In 2018 she started studying to become a Dispensing Optician, qualifying (with far better grades than Mark did) in 2022.

Outside of work she is besotted with her poodle Penny and giant rabbit Thumper.

Hi, I am Nelesh, I qualified as an Optometrist in September 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Optometry, followed by a post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Optometry from City University London. I have experience working at various Multiple and Independent Optical practices throughout the country including work at Hospital in the East Midlands. I have been a director of my own Independent Optometry practice for
22 years which I relinquished in 2021.
Cooking in my spare time is great passion of mine. I enjoy keeping fit and run and swim regularly.

Charlotte Michel
Charlotte worked in the dental profession for over 30 years, hence why her hair is so grey. She requalified as Earwax Removal Specialist in April 2024 and has never looked back!

Charlotte loves dogs and has 2 cavapoos, 2 cats, 1 daughter, 2 step daughters and 2 step sons. All of whom have wax free ears!
